Knight the Dog needs a home

If you're interested in adopting any SGSR dog, please read about our Adoption Process and fill out an Adoption Application. Visit our website for more information, including Frequently Asked Questions

This is Knight. He is a super awesome 3-5 year old male Gsd. He has been cleared for provided he stays low key. Knight came in limping and subsequently we found out he had a fractured patella. He was slated for surgery but found out he was healing so well on his own that he just needed to be kept completely. Now he is much better but still needs about 4 more weeks of recuperation time which includes walk not runs. Night is a very sweet dog and also very protective when he gets to know his family. He gets along really well with other dogs with proper introduction is house trained and loves to ride and be near his human. We do have cats here and he has done fine with them but probably does have a prey drive if left with the cat. Night does great with small children we have an 8 and a 10 year old and he loves his toys bones and being a total goofball. If you are interested in Knight please contact your coordinator.

Our adoption process consists of a telephone interview, a call to your veterinarian and a home visit. If you have any questions about the adoption process please contact
